Purpose: Tin coating allows effectively solve the issue of low electrical conductivity of titanium. Tinned titanium acquires the ability to be soldered. Its color becomes silvery white and shiny. Tin gives titanium some anti-friction properties, which, however, are less pronounced than those of tin-lead. Bismuth in the alloy allows the coating to remain solderable for more than a year and prevent its destruction at temperatures below -30°; C. When tin plating titanium, technological sublayers are always used.
