The group combines the processes of electrochemical and chemical nickel plating of all types of structural materials. Nickel for copper is an anode and, therefore, effectively protects it from corrosion even if there are pores or damage. For steel, nickel is a cathode, therefore it protects it only mechanically. Nickel gives the surface a high degree of gloss, wear resistance and stabilizes the transient electrical resistance in the contacts.
